Mail merge field for External ID?

Hi all, Is there a way to include the external customer ID in a mail merge field? I'm putting together a customer satisfaction survey, and would like to include a link in the email to https://survey.blah.blah/Now?customer=ExternalID

Is this possible? Is there a definitive list of all mail merge fields available?
