Delete accounts

Is it possible (or desirable) to delete unused 'Bank accounts' so they don't appear in name searches?

You can delete bank accounts under Money > Bank accounts if no transactions were previously posted, otherwise, you must archive the bank account.

Best answerBut the customer or bank names still appears when a search is done, even if they are archived.

Unfortunately, the archived contact will still appear on the main navigation search, but would not appear on any contact dropdown searches.

I have archived a group of customers, but they still appear on the 'sales' dropdown boxes. You said "would not appear on any contact dropdown searches." That's rather pointless!

Could you submit a ticket by heading to the Need Help? button located at the top right > Send us a message with an example archived customer please?

I want to delete all of my Clear books accounts and start again

You can reset your account by heading to the Building Icon (top right) > Reset account.
Please note: this will delete all the account data.
