Delete accounts

Is it possible (or desirable) to delete unused 'Bank accounts' so they don't appear in name searches?

I can see you have managed to reset the account.
For anyone referencing this post in the future, the reset button has been moved to the Building Icon (top right) > Settings > Reset account.

I'm using the free version and there is no option to reset account.

You can reset your account by heading to the Building Icon (top right) > Reset account.
Please note: this will delete all the account data.

I have archived a group of customers, but they still appear on the 'sales' dropdown boxes. You said "would not appear on any contact dropdown searches." That's rather pointless!

Unfortunately, the archived contact will still appear on the main navigation search, but would not appear on any contact dropdown searches.

But the customer or bank names still appears when a search is done, even if they are archived.

You can delete bank accounts under Money > Bank accounts if no transactions were previously posted, otherwise, you must archive the bank account.
