Remove old employees from employee listing

We have an employee who has left us, but he still shows upin the employee list, can we move him to a past employee list anywhere?

When you go into a new tax year those who left in the previous tax year drop off the list, but not quite what you're suggesting I know. I suppose the logic is (or rather was) that anyone who has been employed in the tax year is part of your payroll for that year, though now the old P35 system has gone I'm not sure that matters. Once they've left and you've done your FPS they can safely disappear from view I reckon, so your suggestion gets a 'like'!
