Helpful if a CB user could mark a question or problem as 'solved'

I am suggesting that a poster could mark their own posted answered when it it solved.

I can't really test it at the moment, as I have moderator rights to the forum. But if indeed you can't mark your own problem as 'solved' or mark an answer to your question as 'best answer' (you mark the best answer, which in turn marks the question as answered), then it's a bug and we'll fix it promptly.

On this thread there is no 'best answer' icon. I have seen this on other threads though, for example this one:- https://secure.clearbooks.co.uk/community/questions/5477/change-aspects-of-sales-invoices

there is a 'best answer' icon on the post made by Vanish and the whole thread is marked 'answered'.

Thats exactly whats needed.

Just a quick update Graeme. A fix has been already written last week, but it failed the automated part of our QA process for odd reasons. So at the moment it is machine versus men - our devs are trying to work out what is wrong, with the automated process also being looked at, which takes more time.
