Typo on account details - now need to identify which invoices were created.

Can someone please advise me how I can identify which invoices have been created with a particular payment bank account please.

Hi David,

You can head to Reports > Other > Transactions and select the bank (i.e. the one which you want to view all the invoices that were created from) in the account field drop down list, then click the find button.

This will show you all the payment transactions made in this account and you can then click on the monetary amounts to be taken to the transaction ID page.

Within the transaction ID page you can click on the payment ID in the ID column, please view screenshot in the link: http://prntscr.com/5dh9aw.

This will take you to payment ID page, where you can click on the invoice ID number and open up the invoice.

Essentially this is the same process as the one I mentioned above, albeit it involves more steps. It's in some respects better as it means you don't have to go through every invoice in the sales > invoice > all page, as you filter it to all the invoices created from this account.

I'm afraid there isn't a more efficient and hassle free way to view all the invoices created from a particular bank account and I am extremely apologetic about this. What i can recommend is if you can create this as an idea for our development team to look into implementing.

Please let me know your thoughts on the above.

Thank you for that answer however I was hoping to have a list of invoices that are affected instead of going through ever invoice one by one - which could takes us well into next year especially if there are three click I have to do to get to the desired information.

Hi David,

The way to identify these invoices is by clicking into the invoice ID link as illustrated here: http://prntscr.com/5cu54r and then clicking on the payment ID link in the payment history section on the invoice as illustrated in this link: http://prntscr.com/5cu5ld.

Then in the payment allocation page it shows you the bank account used to make that invoice or bill, as illustrated in this link http://prntscr.com/5cu62y.
